A. The word concierge is a French word meaning “Keeper of the Keys.” In ancient times it was the gatekeeper who held the keys to the castle and looked after the needs of the guests . Think of Bay State Concierge as the keeper of the keys to your castle... your life and your peace of mind.

Q. How can Bay State Concierge simplify my life?
A. We are there for you when you cannot be in two places at once. We can make life a little more manageable for you and relieve you of some of the day-to-day stresses that wear you down, and make you less capable of doing the things that are most important to you.

Q. What services does Bay State Concierge provide?

If there is something specific you are looking for and do not see it there, it is only because we could not possibly list every service. We ask that you call us directly to discuss additional services we may offer, or fill out the submission form on our “contact” page and we will respond as soon as possible.

Q. What area does Bay State Concierge service?
A. Bay State Concierge is located in Ashland, Massachusetts and services the greater MetroWest and Boston areas. We would be happy to provide service anywhere in the state; however, each additional mile outside a thirty mile perimeter is charged at thirty-five cents. As always, we are open to discussing alternative methods for the cost of travel and/or designing a package that’s right for you.

Q. What forms of payment does Bay State Concierge accept for services rendered?
We accept cash, personal checks, and Bay State gift certificates.

Q. How much notice do you require in order to fulfill a request for service?
A. We prefer a twenty-four hour advance notice. This will assist us in designating the Concierge Specialist who can handle your request in the most timely fashion.

Q. What if I require service on the spur of the moment?
A. We are always happy to accommodate last minute requests provided we have an available resource. In the event that we do not have a staff member readily available, we will do our best to handle your request as soon as humanly possible.

Q. Will my personal information be kept confidential?
A. At Bay State Concierge your trust is of the highest importance to us. Our Concierge Specialists are licensed and bonded with years of customer service experience. Your information will be held in complete confidence and under the strictest security.

Q. Can you pick up/drop off my children at school?
A. Unfortunately, this is one of the few service requests that Bay State Concierge cannot accommodate at this time, on grounds of liability. In time, we do hope to offer this as one of our regular services. In the meantime, we would be happy to find a reputable business that could assist you in this matter. [The same policy would apply for the transporting of any person or animal].

Q. Does Bay State Concierge offer gift certificates?
A. Yes, gift certificates are available two different ways. You may purchase either a specific package, or a determined number of ala carte hours.
